Hi All,

We are using SAP PO 7.4 B2B add on, in all of sudden we are encountering with EDI conversion issue as follows,

Message could not be forwarded to the JCA adapter. Reason: Dangling meta character * near index 0

MP: exception caught with cause java.util.regex.PatternSyntaxException: Dangling meta character * near index 0

Exception caught by adapter framework: Dangling meta character * near index 0

Transmitting the message to endpoint <local> using connection File_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: java.util.regex.PatternSyntaxException: Dangling meta character * near index 0

Can anyone please give me suggestion how to rectify this error ?

Is this a valid EDI file? I would recommend you look at the EDI file and see if this is valid .EDI file.

If you can strip properitary data and attach the same here, maybe we can have a look.

Thanks for your response, I am using the correct EDI file which was working fine earlier. I am getting this error in all of sudden.

Please check the attached EDI file and let me know your suggestions.edi-file.txt
