Booked quantity issue with physical inventory

Hi,

I have an issue where for some materials physical inventory was done and counted quantities were uploaded but difference was not posted.

Due to some decimal point setting issue in SAP actually uploaded quantity was bigger than the actual counted quantity.

So physical inventory documents were deleted using MI02 and the correct counted quantity was uploaded. Now after the second upload of counted quantity was done I observed that the booked quantity got changed even though the difference was not posted.

So what could be the reason for booked quantity getting changed and how to get back the original booked quantity.
