Check in CUNI.

KG and Ton is in the same dimension.

KG is the SI unit, hence you can have a fix conversion between T and KG already in customizing .

You probably have a wrong conversion rate there.

is the field just grey, or do you get any warning message? Do you have proper authorization?

Hi,

First check the Material master properly.

Goto Material master additional data there check the Unit of measure tab for this material.

If the material is assigned with Alternative unit of measure check whether it is

1 KG = 1 TON,

Just delete that line & include your conversion as per your requirement.

then you can get the conversion in the PO also.

I will ask for conversion while creating the material master, when the order unit and storage unit are different. If the material is already created then go and change the material order unit if there are no transactions done.
