Hello guys,

is it possible to have in a query a on the rows caracteristic value, must be a text a text, then the key figures, and then at the end of the query the same caracteristic text again?

Something like this:

Caract key figure Caract

Mat1 5 Mat1

Mat2 3 Mat2

Mat3 2 Mat3

I tried with replacement path variables but text replacement does not work...

This is a request i've got yesterday from a client...and really knocked me off

Bests regards,

Tudor

Hello Praveen,

well...i haven't used the report designer before...and I thought that a caracteristic on the columns would not matter...

Thanks anyway

,

unfortunately it's not :-)...because i have to have to have another caracteristic on columns...:(((((

it the layout must be something like this:

Calday

01.12.2008

Caract key figure Caract

Mat1 5 Mat1

Mat2 3 Mat2

Mat3 2 Mat3

the report designer tells that it's not possible to have this kind of drill across in a report (as far as i understood, the caracteristics must be on the rows and the key figures on the columns... - you can't have caracteristics on the columns...:( )

You never told abt Calday before.

Anyways if you have 0calday1 0calday2 0calday3 etc

Your key figure gets splitted and number of columns become dynamic hence I think it doesnot allow.

I assume you want to display the same characteristic twice and its the last column.

In your workbook just write VB code to copy the other row.

If you are on BI7 it should be simpler.

Go to report designer.Insert a column at the end for your table just copy the format of your first column.

Thats its

It works.
