How to update infotype field from customized field in CATSDB table

Hi All,

I've added a new field in CAT2 report, by adding a custom field in CATDB table CI. the problem is that when the customer save data in CAT2 report, data is only stored CATSDB table , but not transported to corresponding infotype.

the new field is catsdb-UMSKD , and the corresponding field in absnes infotype is pa2001-UMSKD.

is there any way to sync both tables.

Hi Ahmed,

to have the field in CATSDB might not be the perfect solution. If you want to transfer absence data from CATS to PA2001 table using the standard report RPTEXTPT (or a copy of it) you need to have it in PTEX2000.
