Heya
I am currently evaluating how to trigger Fax messages from a mobile device.
The Fax is supposed to be in a standard format where the user can add text. So a Form template would be suitable.
We have in our hands SAP Smart Forms and Adobe Document Service. And AFAIK I can create templates with both.
As the App is HCPms based I'd like to use an OData service to send the Form data from the device to the backend.
If I am not wrong - a Smart Form is an RFC FM so it should be easy to write an OData service triggering this RFC,right?
How about the Adobe case?
[Edit] talking about Smart Forms I am not speaking about the UI5 lib. I refer to this:
And would you recon that you can RFC enable the function module?
I read an other post where naveenraj.a apparently did the same: here

Hi,
both Smart Forms and SAP IFbA ("Adobe forms") employ an ABAP API which is a (generated) function module. These function modules are not RFC-enabled, though - they are to be called locally in the system by the application program that wants to create template-based output.

Alex
