Dependent Requirement Reduction

Hi, Gurus,

I have one question concerning dependent requirement deduction after posting GI.

Below is an example:

The independent requirement had been created for Finished Goods A with quantity 100 ea, and accordingly the dependent requirement for Component B with quantity 100 ea was created after executing MRP. Subsequently, we had performed PR, PO GR, and GI for that Component B with quantity 100 ea. For the F/G A, we don't want to convert it into production order, just using it to deploy the dependent requirement of components B. For Component B, we suppose the dependent requirement should be deduced after posting GI, but it still keep without change.

What kinds of planning strategy I should adopt? Is there any configuration I need set? Any suggestions are welcome.

Hi

Need some info.

You have mentioned "we dont want to convert the F/G A, into production order

and you had performed PR, PO GR, and GI for that Component B with quantity 100 ea".Then for which order the goods have been issued?.

Hello

A dependent requirement will not be reduced if you simply post a goods issue for the component.

A dependent requirement will be reduced, for example, when you post a backflush for a repetitive manufacturing planned order or when you reduce the planned order quantity.
