Sales document type for the permitted sales area

Dear Expert,

I have created a new document type and assigned this to the my existing sales area and removed the previous document type attached to this sales area. Now the problem is system is still allowing to create the order for the previous documents type, can any body help me to figure out why? I am having SAP 5.0 version
