Please tell me the various differences between MD01 and MD02.

In which specific cases, MD01 should be used??

Hi,

1. Md01 is the MRP Run for plant by giving planning scope.

2. Md02 is the mrp run for single Material from plant .

Dear Friend,

MD01 is used for All material planning in the perticular plant or for the group of plants maintianed under scope of planning. in this system will check stock and requirement of all materials and will do the planning.

MD02 is used only to plan single material in single plant. it will not check other material stock and requirement in the plant

Hi ,

MD01 - Is a Total Planning Run.Using this Code you can run MRP for all plant specific materials.

or by using User Exit you can run MRP for particular MRP controller also.

MD02 - Is Used for Planing at Single Item Multilevel.In other words you can select only one Material at Header Level and system will plan up to the last level of BOM.

Hi Dear,

MD01- it is used to run mrp for whole plant level without cosidering any material.

MD02- it is used to run mrp for material level which contains multilevel BOM. And also use it for perticular mrp areas also.

MD03- it is used to run mrp for material level which contains single level BOM.

MD01- total planning run so here we run MRp for all plant or MRP Area,

So if client want to run MRp for all plant and materail in that case we use MD01

MD02-- For single materail at plant level.

Hi ,

MD01 is for whole plant . For example you have done changes to most of the master data and you now want to see the MRP result . In this case you cant go for MD02 for each and every mat so you will use MD01.

MD02 - just for one mat , single item , multi level ( will explode whole BOM for particular mat )

MD01 is used to run MRP at plant level.

Dear

MD01 is used for running the MRP for speicific plant or number of plants to maintain the scope of planning. In the scope of planning you can maintain number of plants and can use the scope to run MRP for maintained plants.

MD02 is used for MRP run for specific finished product with a plant.
