SFTP Cloud Platform Integration

Can I add the .ppk file generated from winSCP into the keystore of my HCI tenant in order to connect to an SFTP server? I've updated the known_host with the server's host key and shared my putty generated public key with them. Do I need any other key to establish connection?

Hi Satya,

if you are asking about HCI DS. please check below link

https://help.sap.com/viewer/dab65b1584e04026a132a06a711e3f5a/latest/en-US/7671a50d3be14679bf81a6ce83...

Last note says, PuTTY Generate keys are not compatible. You can try placing the Private and Public Key AS-IS in the path mentioned.

with regards,

Nazeer

The name of the public key file located in<DS_COMMON_DIR>/conf/keys/sftp on the SAP Data Services Agent host system.

Required only when using the public key authentication method.

NoteSAP Cloud Platform Integration supports key files generated only in the OpenSSH format. Tools such as ssh-keygen can create key files in this format. Other tools, such as PuTTY, may not use the OpenSSH format, and the generated key files will be incompatible.
