How to set up Email notification in SAP Business ByDesign

Dear Experts,

We need to set up email notification for approver. We already set up approval process for supplier invoice, purchase order as per cost center line manager and as per product category. Also purchase contract approval set up as per supplier. We would like to know how we configure email notification to approvers. We have already gone through WorkFlow Rules but did not find any condition to set up approval flow as per cost center line manager. Can you please suggest how to chieve this in SAP Business ByDesign?

Hi Sujeet,

Can you check :

1) Have you scoped and answered the relevant question for : Communication and information exchange -> Business process management -> Business task management

Question : Do you want to use e-mail to notify business users about Business Task Management items?

If so,

You can navigate to

Home work center -> Inbox view

Click on Subscribe to task

Select the relevant task for which you wish to get the email notification.

Approval related task will be available under Managing my area.
