Need help troubleshooting Error 42S02

I am using Crystal Reports 2016 Support Pack 5

Version 14.2.5.2618

I get this error when attempting to run the report and I do not understand what to do next. The table itself exisits and I am able to run queries against it in SSMS. I do not know what the word 'Public' infers here which may or may not be important.

Thank You

"PUBLIC" is the schema name that it's connecting to. So, your connection is not set up to look at the correct one for your report. If you're using an ODBC connection, you need to update it to connect to the correct schema (second page of the configuration - you have to log in first). If you're using an OLEDB connection, you'll have to create a new one in Crystal that points to the correct schema.
