Portal and InfoView Integration Web Appl from Business Objects

Hello dear experts,

i am stuck at a problem and i hope someone of you can give me the right hint.

The scenario is like this:

1) We got an Enterprise Portal 7.0 SP 14 and an NetWeaver BI 7.0, actually this is a BI 7.0 bundle installtion (running on one server and the domain "myportal.company.com"

2) Now we installed at an other server Tomcat 5.5.20 the Business Objects Repository ... that means the BO Web Applications. At Business Objects (BO) you have two main Web Applications, the "InfoView" and the "CmC".

So now what were are trying to do, is to integrated these Applications at the Portal, for example via an URL iView.

But unfortunatly this doesn't work proberply... to be correct this happens: for the Application "Infoview"

It doesn't work at all. I implemented an standard URL iView which points at the normal URL of the Web Application "InfoView", which is like this:

http://<my.company.com>:8080/InfoViewApp/logon.jsp

The Portal URL is like this : http://myportal.company.com:50000/irj/portal

When i make a preview at the iView at the PCD -> it works because the portal makes a new pop up window and the application is loaded. Even SSO is working fine with this application.

BUT when i put this iview, into a role and try to call it from the detailed navigation into the portal content area, nothing really happens. Ok the splash screen is loaded...but thaen its getting freezed.

I get a small yellow triangle with an exlamation mark inside at the left bottom from the IE (Version 6) is showing "Error on page" and when i double click it... an error message says "Row "51", Sign "2", Error "Access denied", Code "0", URL "http://<mytomcat.company.com>:8080/InfoViewApp/logon.jsp"

Well this looks perhaps like an JSP Error ... perhaps something with cross side scripting error messages?

Currently our portal is "relaxed domain level" to level 2, so only the .com domain is intresting. Of course the tomcat is at the same domain.

So what you thing...where should i do more research to solve this probelm ..has anybody an idea?

For any hint this would be fine...

Oh to make it even more curios i tryed also to integrate via an URL iview the other Web Application "CmC" ..and this works fine.... but with this URL: http://mytomcat.company.com:8080/CmcApp/logon.faces

Okay and the SSO is not working ... but what is the key to this issue?

Any help is warmly welcome and will be of course rewarded 😊

Hope you can give me a hint ...!!

Best wishes

Stefan
