Storage Tpe 902 allow negative stock.

I have the following request.

When the people report the production (txn CO11N) the materials goes to the WM in storage type 902 with the production order number as Bin.

There are some cases that they need to send back some materials to the mfg lines and they do the CO13. But in sometimes they use a different production order so that cause that the 902 storage type have negative stock with the incorrect production order.

So the request I receive is to avoid to have negative stock in 902.

I reviewed the configuration and for that storage type had activated the "Allow negative stock"u2026

so I deactivated it but still is allowing negative stock in 902.

Do I did the correct changes to avoid that negative or miss someting?

You know...

I go to the "Control of System Messages in Warehouse Management" and set as E the following record:

Version 00, Application Area L9, Msg 040, Message Cat E, Messa text: &1; Available stock shortfall of &2 in interim storage bin.

And when try to send back the material to mfg lines with CO13... It goes to COGI.

And I got the message "814903004858AA; Available stock shortfall of 78.000 ST in interim storage bin"

Do you think is that enough now?

are you sure that you removed it from the right warehouse storage type combination.

I had often seen that people overlooked the warehouse number and just changed in in the SAP standard delivered warehouse 001

Yeap, I remove the indicator yesterday and transport it to my test system and today I tested again and nothing, it continue allowing post negative stock in that storage type 902.

If you have removed the Allow negative stock check box Tick than it should not allow

please make sure this config is done and than go out of the system and come back and try.
