SAML authentication in BOE tomcat

HI Team ,

I followed below notes and configured SAML authentication on BOE tomcat servers.

but IDP is redirecting to

localhost:8080/BOE/logon.jsp; instaed of localhost:8080/BOE/BI/logon.jsp

Can you please help me on this.

In this blog its mentioned to change the values manually in metadata before upload.

• Which IDP are you using ?
• Check Service Provider metadata - one which you are uploading to IDP

Please check the content of downloaded SP metadata file, whether all the URL's are correct.

Hi Perez,

I am using BOE 4.2 sp5 Unix server, Tomcat 8 . I am using Site minder IDP.

I am directly uploading SP metadata came from tomcat server into siteminder IDP. I did not modify any URLs in SP metadata file.

Do I need to modify IDP configurations manually while uploading SP metadata in siteminder.

Can you please confirm?

Hi, can you tell us more about your configuration? Typically this type of issue occurs when the IdP is not configured to point to the right endpoints. The metadata that is generated from Tomcat should have all the proper URLs, however I have seen some IdP configurations that require manual configuration due to these types of issues.

What IDP are you using?

Did you manually modify the endpoints or did you import the metadata file?
