Hi All,

I am working on vendor master data.

In the LFA1 table i have one record 'xxx' with the company code '4001'.

When i try to display this vendor in Xk02.It is giving the error message like this company cod eis not avaliable in the system.

Is it possiable to create the vendor without the avalaible company code.

Client wants the explanation from me why it is created.

When i am geeting the data from company code '4401' vendor related to company code '4001' coming in the '4401'.

Can anybody please explain the problem.

Thanks,

Swapna.

Hi,

When you try to create a vendor for a company code which does not exist, the system will throw an error saying that company code is not defined.

This is the standard validation for company code field.
