Can i get LSMW templates (xls) for the following

1. Material Master

2. Info Record

3. Purchasing Document

4. Vendor master

Vijay, you cannot get a template that you ould readily use as your Transaction recording would contain different fields as required by your company. so please follow the regualr LSMW process by using th recoring function first. For Material master creation you already have a program for direct input RMDATIND

One part you have to describe in LSMW is the source data, e.g. the structure of your data source, the fields used in your source and from where you get the data.

This is that individual, that you cannot have a template.

But for the target, SAP offers many many templates, for batch/direct input, for IDOCs and for BAPI.

You can see an find this is the very first step in LSMW object

Own Recordings are only needed for loading of data where SAP did not provide any import method (or as starting point for new users who want learn LSMW with very small field amount. Like you learn your first ABAP: write: 'Hello world' )
