Hi ALL,

We are planning to upgrade our SAP system from 4.6C to ECC6.0 .Please let us know what are impact occur in RFC Connection to other systems due to the upgrade .The parameters like Support pack, plug innu2019s ,add onu2019s etc of the systems connected with other systems like BI,SCM,HR,,..

Does ECC6 will support all the special output devices in 4.6C..or do we need to investigate that....?

Hello

The upgrade guide has separate notes for this type

As far as there will be no conversion the RFC's will work as it is after upgrade . Hence I think you need not to do anything with this . I have never touched any RFC so far after upgrade . You can cross check again and can keep export of RFC table on database level

Also I do not think there will be any impact on Printer definition

ECC 6 is far better and faster than 46C. That's all i can say. Do you mean the RF Devices when you say special devices ?

Check the upgrade guide - it has LOTS of notes with detailed information what to take care of (yes, those are really many of them, plan 2 - 3 days to read them all).

Does ECC6 will support all the special output devices in 4.6C..or do we need to investigate that....?

What´s in your understanding a "special output device"?

I know lot of note there but not releted to RFC Connection of other system. i need minimum requirment of connection system Plug in ,addon level .

in printer

We are using lot of OKI341 out put device .so any impact due to upgrade from 4.6c to ECC6.0

We are doing the exact path from 4.6C to 6.0 and RFC have worked with no problems after Quality system was upgraded connected to BW, BI, Solman, EP.
