Where to store large texts

Hello,

in WD4A you have elements for plain text as well as formatted texts in a XML structure.

But where should I store these large character objects? Of course I could store them in a cluster like the INDX. I also have experience with the Business Document Server in SAP. Then I though about the OTR but I am not sure whether application data which changes frequently is really supposed to be stored in OTR.

I was wondering whether a smarter and SAP revommended way exists to store all these information. How do you guys solved this issue?

SAP had a lot of different techniques like knowledge warehouse, BDS... and I might not be up to date anymore.

If you have a smart hint and maybe even some sample ABAP there is one more happy guy on earth 😊
