WAD 7.0 (2004s): Navigation pane and icons

Dear all,

currently we still use BW 3.5 web environment as the navigation block of WAD 3.5 supports the parameter [SHOW_NAVIGATION_ICONS|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/1d/499d398b45160ae10000000a11402f/frameset.htm].

This parameter allows users to filter and drilldown with a single click without using the context menu. I'm still searching for this functionality within WAD 7.0 as this functionality is very intuitive. Users are able to filter and drilldown without special knowledge of all the functionalities implemented within the context menu. More over, the navigation block of 3.5 display whether an item has been filtered or not. As a result: Even information consumption users are able to naviagte without a lot of training.

All these stuff is also supported by BEx Analyzer 7.0 ([display icons of the navigation pane|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/18/b0f015812e48da9d36f786c86c7ac4/frameset.htm]). Is there any support/ work-around to use the functionality of displaying icons within 7.0 WAD?

Thanks for your support.

Best Regards,

Daniel
