SLD architecture in the landscape

Hi,

How many SLDs should be there in the landscape. Should there be only one SLD for DEV, QAS & PRD or should there be two SLDs; one for DEV-QAS & other for PRD or 3 SLDs; each for DEV, QAS & PRD. Also please support your replies with reasons.

Hi,

We use 2 SLD's, one for DEV, QAS and sandboxes, and another one for PRD.

The advantage is that we have a test SLD, and that the production SLD will stay clean. The disadvantage is for exemple when data from a test system needs to be sent to the PRD system, then you'll need to change the SLD connection of the system.
