Dear All,
S/4Hana : 1709
1)FG which has two components attached in BOM.
2)All three materials are getting planned in MD02 ( After MRP run, Can see plan orders and purchase requisitions in MD04 )
3) MRP live is not planning. ( Once done with MD01N, unable to plan orders and purchase requisitions in MD04).
All three materials are marked for MRP type - PD
Any prerequisites required for MRP live to plan the materials. Any other useful insights will be highly appreciated
Thanks, KMK
Thanks All - Note 2530377 resolved this case.

Hi

2)All three materials are getting planned in MD02 ( After MRP run, Can see plan orders and purchase requisitions in MD04 )>>> Fine
3) MRP live is not planning. ( Once done with MD01N, unable to plan orders and purchase requisitions in MD04)>>>MRP run already created the required Planned Orders and Purchase requisitions, might be because of this, system is not generating any new Planned Orders/Purchase Requisitions, while executing the MRP run with MD01N. Kindly Confirm ?
Also, let us try to run MD01N, with Delete & Recreate the Planning Data option ( 3)
Let me know, what is the result of the above MRP Run( using MD01N).
Thanks for the kind feedback. Best Regards : Raja

Hi KMK,
Were you able to Run MRP Live?
I'm Facing a similar issue. MRP Live is not planning the finished products and consequently the dependent materials are not being planned. Like your case, when I run classic MRP, planned orders are normally generated. All data is looks correctly in PP/DS side and there are no errors in MRP log (t-code md_mrp_force_classic).
Please also consider that the planned independent requirements are normally being displayed in transaction MD04, however in t-code /SAPAPO/RRP3 (Product View).
If you have solved your issue could you please share how?
Best regards.

Hi KMK,
While doing MRP run, activate the checkbox for BOM Components.
It will then include components as well.
Hope this will clear your doubt.
Thanks,
Kunal

Hello
Can you please clarify if the BOM is correctly exploded and dependent requirements are generated for the components or not?

Dear Raja,
Thanks again.
So, it means, MRP Run is working with MD02, but not working for MD01N ( Is this understanding of mine is correct ?) ( Yes you are right )
For now, cannot share the screen shot. I am running MD01N with processing indicator NEUPL, hence in my understanding, planning file entry is not needed. Any further suggestions.
Thanks, KMK

Hi KMK,
Thanks for the quick feedback.
So, it means, MRP Run is working with MD02, but not working for MD01N ( Is this understanding of mine is correct ?)
Is this issue is, with all the Materials in the Plant (or), with any specific set of Material(s) ?
Is the MRP run with MD01N was executed at least once in the Plant, with any combination (OR) It didn't worked at all, even for once ?
Could you please share/compare the input screen of MD01N & MD02, with which, you are executing ?
Are you able to see the Planning file Entry, before executing MRP Run , using MD01N ?
Thanks again for the quick feedback: Best Regards : Raja

Dear Raja,
Firstly, thanks for reply.
MD02 was in simulation mode. Yes, already checked with both options 1& 3. Any further suggestions please.
Thanks, KMK
