Create table under BTAdminH

Hi SAP Gurus,

I need to create a own custom table under the BTAdminH BOL. Using EEWB a can only add a structure.

Can this be done? Can anyone provide an example.

Or do I need to create an own ZBOL based on BTAdminH? I try to prevent this since no info is available on this subject.

hi,

you can maintain table using eewb in bp (bupa). But eewb does not allow for order.

For integrating a custom table in the BT component I fear the EEWB will not do.

You need to create yourself a BOL node and add a new relation to the customizing for it. For the implementation class have a look at the already implemented stuff.

When I first implemented a RUN_BTIL class I made a copy of an existing one and removed everything I did not need. This way you get a sceleton for your own logic.

It really is not that hard once you get the hang of it.

I had a doubt in my mind since a long time and I think you are the right person who can answer that.

Any idea whats the use of Program-CRM_GENIL_CUST_MAINTAIN?

Is it useful only for SAP development or can it be used for Custom Development as well?

Hi Rohit,

the report you mention is a service report for the component BT. It is not officially released to customers afaik as it does modifications to the entries in SAP tables for the BT bol model.

Personally I do not use the report when making adjustments to the model as I prefer to directly edit the SM30 views.

With SP03 there is a new customizing for enhancing BT component set. You might want to use this instead of making modifications. Even though it has its flaws.
