How do you use STRUST to create a Subject Alternative Name

17212 Views

I am trying to create a Subject Alternative Name (SAN) for my SSL Server Standard PSE. I meet the pre-requisites for using SAN with STRUST. I've read the articles

https://blogs.sap.com/?p=133512 & https://blogs.sap.com/?p=483388, but the SAN I enter is not in the PKCS#7 certificate when I read it into the SAP server. Instead it has two entries in the "Subject (ALT.)" line for the certificate. It has www.<servername>.<domainname> and <servername>.<domainname>. I assume these are default values. Where do you enter the SAN when using STRUST? Are you supposed to use the "Replace Wizard" option? Is it dependent on the type of certificate you are creating? I've seen references to PKCS#10 certificates, but my provider does not generate those types of certificates.
