Problem opening a web template!

Hi Experts

When I open a Web Templates, it says that it has a HTML Fragments & cannot be edited in WAD as it is not designed in such a way to edit only in HTML editor???

Any ideas are highly appreaciated.

hello,

wanted to ask you one more thing..

Are you trying to open some CRM templates?because some of them do not open in WAD.

You can only view the template "HTML" (code) view with WAD for the problem you described. This can be done using RS_TEMPLATE_MAINTAIN or WAD.

You cannot view the template using WAD to get the "Layout" graphical view.

The only way to get around this is to strip out the HTML "fragments" from the HTML code, or to partition the templates into sub-templates.

Thanks a lot for your immediate response.It is not CRM Templates. Source is SAP only.

You are telling me to maintain that Program , so that i can view the web items instead HTML view.

are you edit the HTML Code in WAD template?

or

are you getting this messgae when you are creating a new web template?

some templates cannot be opened using WAD - see if the template executes fine on the web and if you need to see the contents of the template

use

se38> rs_template-maintain> give your template name.

Hi

I executed the Query in the transaction you mentioned...

when I executed it goes to plain screen with change & execute buttons & also trace tool & settings buttons are available.

then I clicked EXECUTE button again & it throws an error

saying "ERROR LOADING TEMPLATE z****** "

Any ideas??
