Designer 2.1 Crosstab Conditional Formatting is not applied when Prompts are changed

Dear Lumira Experts,

I have noticed an issue with Conditional Formatting in Lumira Designer 2.1

Crosstab Conditional Formatting - Applied on column header (Colour) based on the Technical id's of the columns from BEx query. This works as expected in the first instance.

Issue: When I change the Prompts (Refresh button), column heading changes due to dynamic text variables from BEx query. In this case, Conditional formatting is not applied i.e. the desired background colour is not displayed in the column header.

Did anyone experience this issue or is there a workaround to retain Conditional formatting?

Thank you.

Hi - how are you setting the conditional formatting up? Is it it like option 1 in here: http://visualbi.com/blogs/sap-lumira-designer/conditional-formatting-sap-lumira-designer/

Which SP / patch of 2.1 are you using?

May I know if you have a workaround or is this a known issue?

Lumira Community,

Looks like Conditional formatting is applied only to the initial / default view using text + external key combination of the dimensions in column headers (in my case I used a dimension structure in columns).

Solution:

- Applied a default formatting on the Crosstab for ALL columns using CSS (Example: Green)

- Then conditional formatting applied on the Crosstab is executed later to get the Exceptions rule (Example: Yellow) for certain columns

I hope this helps.

Thank you.
