CAL: SAP Business One Upgrade

We have an prospective customer who would like to test SAP Business One 9.3 PL4. Unfortunately, only SAP Business One 9.2 PL7 is currently available in SAP Cloud Appliance Library. Is there anything in your opinion against upgrading the SAP CAL instance to the higher version by ourself?

Hi Pierre,

Under the Developer License Agreement you are not allowed to modify the SAP Software and to bring your own commercial licenses. Also the conditions under which you could provide the system to a 3rd party are very limited.

The intention of the Developer License Agreement is to facilitate the community with development systems. For customer demos the prerequisite is to order the SAP CAL subscription. Then you'll be allowed to bring your own licenses and modify the system as these licenses permit. If you are interested in this option, you can contact us on cal.admin@sap.com
