Assigning a Work Process to a USER

Hi All,

I heard that we can assign a work process particularly to one user ,may be for a particular time period.

But I didnt get any procedure to do that.

Is this really possible to do.

If possible could any one guide me how to do this.

hi sudheer,

It is not possible for you to assign specific work process on specific user since SAP will always try to assign free work process to user which needed.

SAP has dispatcher that will distribute user to free work process.

I to know that this is not possible but I heard from one of my colleague that this is possible.

Hi,

As Ashok said your colleague is wrong. The confusion may come from the existance of a process becoming in private mode when a program or transaction has to allocate memory from the heap.

This is not a choice and is, in fact, a problem.

Hi Sudheer,

Absolutely not possible so no method to do that.

If the workprocess with be in private mode then the system will lock the process to the user until the work finished.
