Hi Experts ,

All currently we are Automodel 56 which will findout the best suited model and with the settings which we have set generate profile on error in the Job activity , So when we run the job it will create the selections & Corresponding models in the table which can be viewed through assign Forecast profiles to a selection .Now when i run it interactively and select a different model it creates a new entry in the table , and when i execute the automodel next time , it getting picked up a new profile , but not the one which we have selected through interactive forecasting.

Please give your inputs.

Hi,

In the SDP94 screen, you can go to menu settings>Forecast profile. You can assign the selection to forecast profile there . make sure you select the option " Save assignments of selection for forecast profile". or if you think this selection should always pickup the same forecast profile/uni variate profile, you assign it in transaction /n/sapapo/msdp_fcst2.

Dear All,

We are using the adaptive forecasting , with the diagnosis group MAPE.

Say For Eg :

We have P1 & L1 and P2 & L2

First we run the adaptive forecasting model-56 , Generate Profile and assign it , Generate profile on error have been selected in the activity of the Job.

So for Eg;

Its has gererated for P1& L1 - some XYZ GUID , with some strategy say 21

P2& L2 - some XYZ GUID , with some strategy say 22

Now from the interactive forecasting i selected P1 & L1 and assigned strategy 11, With generate unique ID .

Now my Forecast table Looks like

P1& L1 - some XYZ GUID , with some strategy say 21 AUTOMODEL

P2& L2 - some AAA GUID , with some strategy say 22 AUTOMODEL

P1&L1 - Some BBB GUID , With Strategy 11 Interactive Forecasting

Next time when i run the Automodel again , it Selects 21 , i.e based on Automodel not based on the Recent Model selected Via Interactive forecasting.

So we have a requirement like if the user changes the Profile through interactively , Automodel must consider the One selected by user , provided if automodel finds the error by this model excedes the diagnosis group , it should select a different model by auto selection with in the error ,as we have selected always generate the profile on error in the activity of automodel job.

Summary is ,

1) When we run the automodel it should select the best model with in the error in Diagonisis group.

(This is working fine)

2) When we select the model through interactive planning , Next planning run in the Automodel should select the model selected interactively , and if doesnot excede the error save the result

and if it excedes the error , select a new model by automodel which is with in the error limit.

(Here Automodel is not selecting the model which is created by interactive, but always considering the model generated by background and if i manually copy the profile ID of Interactive Model and paste in the model generated by background , the next automodel run will be based on interacive model , but even if the error excedes the limit , it is not generating the new profile)

Please let me know how can we achieve this .
