Repetitive manufacturing

For repetitive manufacturing work centre we used the Standard value SAP3 ,work centre category 007.In costing overview we used the activity type Production time , Setup time and Teardown.What formula key we will use for this three activity types.What is the uses of work centre category Production line,station and Zone.For which scenario it will be use.

If any one have documents with good example regarding Line hierarchy and Line Balancing Please send Link.

Work center catagory is used to indicate whether your work center is on production line or its a machine type or labour..........etc.

hi,

Workcenter categories are maintained for the restrict the use of the task list. If u choose the category 007 then only the rate routing (Type R)is allowed. So u can diffrentiate between the work center used in production.
