Regarding Custom functions in SAP Cloud Integration Data Services

Hello DS Experts,

Is it possible to create and configure user defined custom functions in CPI DS Mapping editors? I see limited pre-defined custom's that are avialable but not enough for our usecase.

Hi Siva,

User defined custom functions is not possible. CPI DS is an ETL tool and most of the requirements should be possible with available functions. (may be not directly but using multiple transform steps). Tool is still evolving and can't compare with UDF or other mapping nodes available in SAP PI.

May be you can post your requirement and people can suggest an existing function or way to achieve it.

Yes it possible to write UDF. You can choose Groovy or Java script to write your code and then you can use in your mapping.
