Product Cost Collecter

Friends,

In Repetitive Mfg. suppose I hav 25 production version. So shud I require 25 Product Cost Collecter.

OR any other facility is there?

Dear,

Yes, in rem before backflushing to be done for materail , u have to create product cost collecter. since all the production cost are to be collected to PPC. u need not create every time.u only create PPC For a material & prod vesrion combination at one time only.

use KKF6N to create PCC for a material and select pv for the material for creating

When using KK6M the collective creation of product cost collector- pcc will be created for production version of the materials selected and MF30 to create preliminary cost estimate for the materials.

If I hav done all these things but clear my idea about costing in REM.

i.e. Preliminary costing, Process allocation costing, Surcharges,Variance costing and Settlement

Dear Khema,

Preliminary Costing will be done automatically at the time of Product cost collector creation in T code

KKF6N and this cost will not get stamped in the material master.

It's just a sum up of the materialoperationoverhead costs.

Everytime when there's a change in BOM or Routing details you can make it effective by coming to

KKF6N>change mode>click on cost calculation button ---> save.

Process Allocation cost-- do you mean to say the operation cost?It comes out through the cost

center+activitye type combination assigned in T code KP26 which will be linked into the work center

which will be allocated in the routing operations.

Variance & settlement will be carried out periodically using T codes KKS6 & KK87 respectively.

Goto KKF6N - Process Product Cost Collector

Carryout the cost rollup & release using CK24 or CK40N ( or cost estimate in CK11N and releasing it using CK24)

Over head calculation - (Co42)

Variance calculation (KKS6)

Settlement(KK87)

Dear Khema,

If there are 25 production versions for different materials then you have to create product cost collector

for each of them using T code KKF6M(collectively) or else KKF6N (for individual material) where

preliminary costing will be carried out while saving the datas in KKF6N.
