Geeting SMARTFORM name from SMARTSTYLE name

Hi All,

Can any one help me in finding the form name in which smarttsyle is used.

The smartstyle name is given to me and i have been asked to get the form name in which given smartstyle is used.

Hi Deepa,

If the smartform is customised form we will write the description of the functionality in the description field of smartstyle.We can trace in this way.or else if you know the output type we can list all the smartforms for that type and we can check for which smartform your smartstyle is attached.

we can find it in another way. If you know for which module your smart form is designed ie for ex Plant Maintenance we will assign most of our customised forms at the SPRO level . some form names will be directly assigned in the SPRO settings If you know the module for which you have to find the smartform name we can get it directly.

Hi Deepa,

If we design any smartform we need smartstyle to attach so generally we will follow the naming conventiosn in description. so check the description of your smartstyle then you will get to know for what pupose its created.

If you know the output type and the module for which the smartform is designed for ex MM,PM or Engineering services etc then you can chek the customised forms in the Nace transaction and you have to manually check each and every form where your smartstyle is used.

And regarding the SPRO settings i cant tell you the flow as i dont remember where we can get the form details.Mostly developers will not have access you can ask any Functional or Basi to help you out.

unfortunately i have never got this situation apart from these options i dont have any other solution to find out smartform using smartstyle.

I really doubt If you could get the smartform name that way. The only way is check all the Z smartforms, If this style is used. I dont really see any other option available.

i dont think u can find tht info in any table

go to your smartforms----> Click Form Attributes in the right haved side you have 2 tabs like General attributes and output options in the outpout options you can find your smart style...

i have smartstyle name and its required to get the smartforms names where the given smartstyle is used.

Actually, My SAP server is not working. But try to search like this: "STX*" in SE11. You will get all the tables related to Smartforms. There is also a table for styles. Check that. Maybe you can get what you are looking for.
