How to change the author name in analyzer

Hi,

I have one query that in the analyzer when the reports comes in excel then there some author name(who was created the report) is coming.

I want to remove that.

Please suggest,

Hi,

Click on information tab and go to Design mode in Bex design toolbox then click properties of text botton and choose constants and untoggle the check box for Display author(constant/text).

Its working but actually I want that whenever i run the report the author name should not display by default.

Hi,

BEx Analyzer is using default workbook to display report so u have to customize default workbook

as per you requirement.

Hi,

Follow the below procedure to remove author name in analyzer

1. Open a query in Bex Analyzer

2. Save it as a workbook

3. Remove the author from the workbook (Tools>Macro>Microsoft Script Editor)and change the "validity of Data" to "Last Refreshed Time" and then delete the "Last update" Text Item from the design mode.

4. In the Global Settings set it as the "use current".

5. Save the workbook

6. close the Bex Analyzer

7. Open the Bex Aanlyzer
