Hi. I have been looking for solving the data issues under ECC 6.0.
For valuated project stock data, some data has negative or positive inventory value with zero inventory quantity. I checked QBEW table and some data happened already.
So I want to adjust inventory valuation into zero value using other standard transaction such like subsequent debit/credit. If you have a good idea for this, then please give me your opinion.
Thanks.
There is a KBA 2502494 - CK24 - Error "M7269 - Required function MB_UPDATE_MATERIAL_VALUES is not being processed"
which explains why this error is issued.
There are many other notes with bug fixes that can be found with the search term: MB_UPDATE_MATERIAL_VALUES QBEW
If your system is up-to-date then you can use PANKS to find the notes that need to be applied, see this blog: https://blogs.sap.com/2014/11/28/got-an-error-message-the-new-tool-panks-is-here-to-help-you/

Stock without quantity cannot have a value, it can just have a price.
Can you show a screenshot as it seems to me very unrealistic to have negative prices.
Price changes are done with MR21

Thanks for your comments.
I agree with your comments. But actually, we got the data on QBEW table with Total Stock : Zero and Total Value : -1, 1415 and MovAvgPrice > 0.
When I try to run MR21, then I get the error message like
'Required function MB_UPDATE_MATERIAL_VALUES is not being processed'.
Although that case is not unrealistic, I hope I just want to get the solution through SAP standard function.
