'upgrade' from ESS 600 SP10 to SP12

we are in use of ESS 600 SP10. now there is a error and SAP has a note where the

error is fixed.

so i have to implement ESS 600 SP12 (or higher).

what do i have to take care ? can i directly deploy ESS 600 SP12 ? Or do i have to deploy SP11 first ?
