The best way to do is delete the old marked cost estimate.Create a new cost estimate and mark it again. For a given period there can be only one marked/released cost estimate.Every material which is costed with marked or released costing status have a costing date key which is unique for a period.Hence old marked cost estimate has to be deleted to create a new marked cost estimate in a period.

This should infact be a warning message only. Check in OBA5 if it is configured as an error message.

Or check the configuration on user defined message management.

thanks

Dear Mahesh Patil,

1.Standard Cost Estimate are to be carried out only once in every period or month.

2.Once if a material has a released cost estimate then you have to cancel the existing one using T code

CKR1 and then you have to carryout the Cost estimate once again using CK40N.

3.But this procedure is not to be done frequently as it will create discrepancies.

4.So first reorganize the existing cost estimate using T code CKR1 by selecting the radio button for

std.cost estimate and then do CK40N.

Check & revert back.

Dear Mahesh,

1.If you have done upto the step marking ,then you can only release the cost.

2. If you have released cost estimate, then you have to reorganize the existing one and then you have to

carryout a new cost rollup using T code CK40N.

3. In your case while executing CKR1,select the radio button for Future standard cost estimates and

then try.(as it's only marked in the material master and it's yet to be released).

I'm sure it will work properly.

Check & revert back.
