BI to FTP server connection

Hi,

How to connect the seperate FTP server to BI system, my requirement is to access the seperate the FTP server from the BI system to upload files from the FTP server. End user will access the FTP server and he will put all the file there which are need to be uploaded to BI system.

To connect the seperate FTP server how to maintain the connection parameters from BI side, can it be possible through any Function module in the run time if we define the user parameters in the function module.

Please brief me the process, Step by Step (if possible)
