hi
We upgraded from 4.6c NU to ERP6 UC
Post Unicode conversion while applying Support Packs(SPAM) I am getting the following error
The import was stopped, since an error occurred during the phase
IMPORT_OBJECT_LIST, which the Support Package Manager is unable to
resolve without your input.
We have crossed the phase by running UMG_HISTORY report and saving it
Now atruck at DDIC_IMPORT phase
The import was stopped, since an error occurred during the phase
DDIC_IMPORT, which the Support Package Manager is unable to resolve
without your input.
After you have corrected the cause of the error, continue with the
import by choosing Support Package -> Import queue from the initial
screen of the Support Package Manager.
The following details help you to analyze the problem:
- Error in phase: DDIC_IMPORT
- Reason for error: TP_FAILURE
- Return code: 0012
- Error message: A tool used by tp aborted
Notes on phase DDIC_IMPORT
In this phase ABAP Dictionary objects are imported. This phase can
terminate due to the following reasons:
o TP_INTERFACE_FAILURE: The tp interface could not be called.
o TP_FAILURE: The program tp could not be executed. For more
information, refer to the SLOG or ALOG log file.
o CANNOT_IMPORT_DDIC: The ABAP Dictionary could not be imported. The
causes of error are in the Dictionary import log.
A prerequisite of the Support Package Manager is that the Change and
Transport System (CTS) is configured correctly. For more detailed
information, read the online documentation available from Help -> SAP
Library -> mySAP Technology Components -> SAP Web Application Server ->
Change and Transport System .
A list of the most important SAP Notes for Online Correction Support
(OCS) is available in SAP Note 97620, which is updated regularly.
Also rescheduled Job RDDIMPDP
regards
Please give us the error log of the phase.

Konstantina

Well, I don't see the object that is failing. Any more logs available?
If it's DDLOG, then execute ABAP program SDB3FORA (SAP Note 185821) and start the import again.
