MS SQL compatibility level 130

We are using MS SQL 2016. Our SAP companies are all adjusted to compatibility level 130, except one that is set to 110. When we run the MS SQL data migration assistant on the company db that is set to compatibility level 110 - we receive many errors related to the use of NTEXT fields. ex ACR1.Building type NTEXT.

Does SAP plan to adjust these field types in a future release? If not, are we allowed to manually adjust these NTEXT fields to NVARCHAR?

Which SAP product does it affect? ERP or B1?

Hello,

I assume you are talking about Netweaver systems, right ? Or do you use other SAP software (e.g. Business by design etc.)

The system with the 110 level is running on a SQL 2016 as well ? What type of software / version is this system ? Are all the basis support packages installed for SQL 2016 for all the systems ?

Best regards
