To carry out assessment / distribution under New GL Environment, is it necessary that accounts involved need to be defined as Cost Elements?
E.g.1) Secured Loan (A Balance Sheet Accout type) posted to Corporate Profit Center. This loan is being used for different Profit Centers. Now at period end, I want to see the loan apportioned to different Profit Centers based on the use of Secured Loan by different profit centers.
Can we do it? Is it possible to carry out assessment for a GL account which is not a Cost Element?
