Hi,

Best practise is to terminate the job and delete the job from the list.

If "Terminate Job", "Enable/Disable" buttons are greyed out means that you are missing respective UME actions.

Make sure CCAdmin role has all CC_Actions assigned to it.

Still same issue:

The job was in running state.

This is a new installation and I am very new to GRC.

Other thing I following message is displayed:

Job Scheduler Status: Unknown Error - what does mean?

delete job, terminate and some other buttosn greyed.

CC_Admin has all CC actions assigned and CC_Admin to administrator.

Please advise

Hi,

You cannot delete the job but you can disable it from the Enable /Disable option on the display page for background jobs.

Thanks

Thanks for suggestion, but the under configuration - Background - search . Its lists jobs but buttons Delete, Enable/Disable , Terminate job are greyed out. Only Buttons Show Parameter, Show Job History, Refresh and View Log are selectable. Please advise

Hello K,

Yes, you can delete background jobs for sure but not a running job, you need to terminate it or disable the job first. you can delete the background job with states like error, completed, ready but can't delete running or stopping jobs. In your case I need to know what are the parameters of your background job and let me know if you find any error in Background Job History at some point of time.

Also what is the state of your background job at the moment is it running?

I doubt if it took too much time, it must have expired and the state could not be updated into error from running.

Just let me know the above and i get back to you with the solution.
