BW reporting for cFolders

Hi,

Anyone has done the BW Reporting for cFolders?

We are in ECC6 with SAP cFolders 4.5.

This is what i have done in BW for cFolders, but the query part don't show anything.

- Went to RSA5 and Activate Datasources under APCO_CFOLDERS. The following datasources activated, 0AREA_ATTR , 0CFO_COLLAB, 0CFO_TRANSACTION, 0COLLABORATION_ATTR, 0FOL_ATTR.

- Went to RSA6 and Saved.

- In the Business Content (BI Content), i saw under PLM Infoarea, got some infocube, query, etc.

- So i have done that too and i can see everything in the Data Warehousing Workbench (RSA1).

Normally if we have Infocube, we create Update Rules, followed by info source in which we can assign the respective Data sources and then schedule the job to get the data inside the Info Cube.

But for the cFolders, i can't able to do the same. Is there any difference in doing it? Please give some suggestion.

Thanks

hi,

if u using cfolder4.0, integration with BI is not provided.

you can do one thing

go to t code SQVI. here u can join two tables and fetch the data as mentioned in pervious reply.

the tables are as follows.

CFF_PHF and CFF_PHIO

join these two tables and what fields u want as output , u can get the result.

if any probelm in creating infoset, plz revert back

in cfolder4.5, ingegration with BI is provided.

BW Reporting on quantity structure of collaborations on cFolders server

The purposes here is to give cFolders administrators volume and cFolders usage information over time.

The Analytics provide details on number of collaborations over time, size of content etc.

thanks

Hi,

Yes as you said through query, we can get some basic reporting.

But i have problem doing the same in cFolders 4.5 through BI reporting. Thatz what is my question. Do you have any idea?

Anyway, i was referring these tables CFS_PROFILE_OBJS,CFS_STAT_ACTION , CFS_STATUS,

CFS_STATUS_FGRP , CFS_STATUS_PROF, CFS_STATUS_PROT , CFS_STATUS_TRANS ,

CFS_TRANS_ACTION to get the status report.

But in the above tables, there are some fields like TRANS_ID, PROFILE_ID etc which are hexadecimal or alphannumeric format. So it is not showing the physical folder name or colloboration name etc.

Do you have any idea how to get the physical name as seen in the cFolders screen?

Thanks & Regards,

Ani

Hi,

Yes i know all this tables. But for my use, i'm not referring this tables, but those tables which i mentioned earlier.

for example, in the table CFS_STATUS_TRANS, there are fields like TRANS_ID, PROFILE_ID etc, which are UUID in character format.

Do you know how to show this field into a normal readable format? Because all this fields are having 32 characters which is not easily readable. If i get a solution for this, then i can generate report in SAP R/3 itself, instead of BW.

Hope you are getting my point and understand my query also.

Thanks & Regards
