'No registered product found' message

Hello all,

We are on CRM 5.0.

In the 'Identify Account' view, when we search for the BP account and confirm it, then we are getting a message saying "No registered product found".

Is this message coming because we are not entering any thing in 'Search product' view ?

Any ideas on how to suppress this message?

Best Regards,

Nag

In t-code CRMC_IC_BPPROF blank out the IBASE search partner, see if that helps.

Partner for IBase Search

Definition

Business partner type(s) for which you want to see the IBase components.

Use

Enter the business partner types that you want the system to search in order to find related registered products.

If you do not enter a business partner type, the system does not search any business partner types. If you leave this field blank, the registered product search is not carried out.

Examples

In a B2B scenario, you identify a contact person and customer and choose Confirm. The system starts an IBase search to find registered products. Depending on the settings you made in Customizing, the system will include the contact person, customer, or both in this search.

Hi

In CRM 5.0 Webclient a Dummy Product is required, the general standard is that it be call "INVESTIGATION".

Once the relevant configuration for this in place the message will no longer appear.

You may have to deal with a couple more minor issues relating to this, but ultimately it is the correct way to go.

Post a reply if you need more guidance
