Block SNP Resource Planning

I have 1 scenario in which plant is not working during last 2 weeks of Dec. Now this holiday is not cyclic. It can be or cannot be applicable for next year.

Currently it is mapped in ECC as resource shift during the last 2 weeks of Dec for the current year with u201C0u201D capacity utilization.

It is CIFed across APO as external Capacity. If we check the same in Capacity profile then we donu2019t have available capacity shown for those 2 weeks.

Now when I do SNP planning in APO that uses this resource, plan orders are dropped in same weeks. Even Capacity Utilization data view shows available capacity as u201C0u201D but it shows some capacity consumption.

I even tried maintaining downtimes for those 2 weeks. Even then it is planning the production.

Can any one help me out solving this query.

Hi Jignesh,

What planning run are you running? Heuristic does not look at your capacity. You have to use capacity leveling to change this. You can setup an alert too.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I am using SNP heuristic.

And yes after Capacity Levelling it is rescheduling the Plan orders other then last 2 weeks of Dec.
