Customer-Material Info Records (VD53) and Customer Hierarchy

Hello!

Can Customer-Material Info Records (VD51/VD52/VD53 transactions) be used for partners other then Sold-to, e.g. ship-to (WE)? I have this question in at least two areas - Order Processing and EDI.
