SAP on Windos XP or Vista

Hi

Can SAP be installed on Windows XP.

Currently I have installed in Win2003 OS. But i want to change it to any client based OS(XP or Vista).

not possible, there is no XP, vista kernel released by SAP.

Thanks for the inputs.

In my laptop i have installed win2003 and IDES4.7. Now i want to install antivirus. Will it cause any problem to SAP. If it is possible can you suggest any antivirus softwares. Because i want to connect to internet.

there should not be an issue, and no impact on SAP applications and database. you can install AV software.

If running on Oracle, just disable "on access" scanning for process ORACLE.EXE
