Unable to connect Lumira Discovery to

Hi experts, I'm using SAP Lumira Discovery SP01 and trying to connect to S4/HANA on AWS using IMPORT DATA FROM SAP HANA.

If I use SYSTEM credentials, Lumira successfully connects. When I use another user credential, I receive a "Unable to connect to server" message. I also set NO FORCE PASSWORD CHANGE ON NEXT LOGON to credentials. Same credentials are useful to connect to SAP HANA database using Eclipse and SAP GUI and Lumira Designer.

We're using a multicontainer database with only system database.

Do I miss any role or privilege to let this credentials connect?

Could you help me please?

    First, the user must be created in a tenant (not in the systemDB)

    Second, grant the user the following role: sap.hana.xs.ide.roles::Developer


    and If you want to connect to HANA live, also grant the role: sap.bc.ina.service.v2.userRole::INA_USER

    Hi Mario,

    I got similar issue with import data from SAP HANA, but we have multitenant DB. When I try to connect, I always got error message "unable to connect to server ". When I put server name and SQL port number of my indexserver to the "Server" field (like ServerName: SQLPort# ) I finally connected. SQL Port Number not equal to Port number of indexServer - you can check this in HANA Studio->Administration-> Landscape Tab - the last column.
