My requirements is as such that unused leave can be encashed when the employee leaves the organisation. Leave can be encashed from 2 quota types, namely quota 1 (validity of current year and next year) and quota 2 (validity of current year).
- Quota 1- 01.01.2008 - 31.12.2009
- Quota 2 - 01.01.2008 - 31.12.2008
I have a set up a compensation method A, and have also assigned a deduction rule X to it.
Basically, the deduction rule is configured as such:
Deduct from Quota 2, then Quota 1. The deduction priority is also set to descending.
My problem is this. There may be multiple instances of Quota 1 and Quota 2, each having its own validity period. Reason is because the current Quota 1 will always be valid for 2 years. When a new calendar year is generated, the previous Quota 1 will be delimited to be 1 year, and the new quota to be valid for 2 years again. Example:
- Quota 1 - 01.01.2009 - 31.12.2010
- Quota 1 - 01.01.2009 - 31.12.2009
- Quota 1 - 01.01.2008 - 31.12.2008
- Quota 1 - 01.01.2007 - 31.12.2007
- Quota 2 - 01.01.2009 - 31.12.2009
- Quota 2 - 01.01.2008 - 31.12.2008
- Quota 2 - 01.01.2007 - 31.12.2007
How do i ensure that when a IT0416 record is created for say year 2008, it will only be deducting from the quota of 2008 (from quota 2, then quota 1)?
