Hi,

I'm getting the following error and the installation stops in step 3 while installing CE 7.1 trail version.

The step createAccounts with step key |CE_DevSystem_App|ind|ind|ind|ind|0|0|NW_Onehost_System|ind|ind|ind|ind|3|0|NW_Users_Create_Do|ind|ind|ind|ind|4|0|createAccounts was executed with status ERROR .

Before the installation, during the prerequiste verification, I receive the following error and if ignore it, the installations stops after throwing the above exception.

Condition Result Code Severity Message More Information

Domain Controller Could not check HIGH Installations on domain controllers are not supported. (Updated 2005-06-24)

I logged in with a local user ID with admin previleages. Its a custom server installation with default settings.

Could anyone faced this issue or help me out?

Thanks,

Santhosh

Hi Alexander,

I checked the OS. Indeed it is Windows XP, English version.

Any inputs?

Thanks,

Santhosh.

Hi Santhosh,

Does the system where you are attempting the installation meet the prerequisites needed? For instance, do you have a 2 GB RAM etc.?

Hi Romit,

It does meet all the harware prerequisities.

Windows XP Professional (Service Pack 2) or Windows 2003 Server (Service Pack 1) - XP - SP 2

NTFS file system - Yes

Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher or Firefox 1.0 or higher - IE 6.0

At least 1, 5 GB RAM, 2 GB are recommended - 2GB RAM

1.5 GHz PC or higher - 2.79 GHz

7 GB free hard disk space - 14 GB on the drive where I'm installing.

Monitor 1024x768 pixels or more, 256 colors - 1280X1024

Internet Access (for CE online documentation) - Not mandatory I believe.

Thanks,

Santhosh

Hi Santhosh,

one requirement not listed by you is the localization of your operating system. Do you use an English version of Windows XP?

If not, then the installation fails (as the user accounts are named differently). However, there still is a possibility to successfully install the trial version on a non English OS, but you have to manually tweak some configuration files prior to installation.

Best regards

Alexander
